What is a Business Analyst?

Business Analysis is the practice of enabling change in an organizational context, by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. -- IIBA BABOK Guide

As a business analyst, I bridge the gap between the technical and the non-technical. I work with our business partners to understand their needs, and I elicit the requirements to fulfill those needs. I also work with our developers to understand the scope of the request, to ensure our designs and final solutions deliver on each requirement.
